ThermoPro TP07 Remote Wireless Digital Kitchen Cooking Food Meat Thermometer with Timer for BBQ Smoker Grill Oven, 300 Feet Range Review

I just joined the “smoking world” today. I bought a Masterbuilt electric smoker….and this Thermo Pro setup. My first smoke today was a pork loin. A little salt and pepper…..some “Slap Ya Mama”……and some Apple wood chips. 250 degrees till the internal temp was 155. Oh My God!! You would have thought I was a professional smoker! Absolutely mouth watering, tender, sweet,juicy, delicious, and just amazing! Did I mention how good it taste?! lol This wireless Thermometer is just flawless. I chose not to use any of the programs that are installed……I just set my own internal temp and let er’ go. I walked around my 2 1/2 acres and never lost communication. It was so cool to have the remote in the house while I did my chores and watch the temp rise. It started at 47 degrees…..and when it registered 155 I took it out, wrapped in foil for an hour to let it redistribute the juices. Then I sliced it like a loaf of bread. Just typing about it makes me drool! lol It’s that good! If you……like me…….don’t like to take chances and want to be a perfect chef……ya GOTTA have one of these babies…..GT:)

12/23/2015 UPDATE: Well…..even the best things fail…….and it did today:( I tried to smoke today and the thermometer registered 180 degrees as soon as I turned it on. I removed the batteries, tried scrolling thru the settings, cycled on /off many times, plugged / unplugged the sensor………to no avail. IT BE BROKE!

Now……it is “unavailable” on Amazon! So I am in the process of obtaining a refund and selecting a different one. Dropping 2 stars. I would drop more but I really liked it when it worked. Can’t win em’ all……GT:)
