I bought this item in March of 2013. Four months later, with fairly light use, one of the three metal pegs under the steamer tray has snapped off due to poor metal joining. I do not have welding tools to put it back. As it only has three pegs to keep the boiling water away from the broccoli, much like a tripod, the product is useless without each and every peg. I will be trying another brand.

This item was used approximately 7 times before the “winged enclosures” started to come apart. I cannot recommend this product based on the experience I had with it. Item was not abused, gently washed with a long type bottle brush. Just didn’t workout for me.

the only problem i have with this steamer–is the legs are way to short,cant put much water in your pan & it will burn the pan if you dont watch it constantly.
